Terms and Conditions: A Series Members Community “Best Face” Terms and Conditions

By entering the Prize Draw described below (a “Prize Draw”) you (the “Participant”) agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”).

 

  1. Promoter: Samsung Electronics (UK) Limited, Samsung House, 2000 Hillswood Drive, Chertsey KT16 0RS.
  2. The Prize Draw is open to United Kingdom, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and ­­the Republic of Ireland, aged 18 or over who hold a valid Samsung Members account.
  3. Employees or agents of the Promoter or anyone professionally connected to the Prize Draw is not eligible to enter.
  4. No purchase is necessary to enter.
  5. The Prize Draw will open at 00:01 (BST) on 8th May 2025 and close at 23:59 (BST) on 20th May 2025 (“Prize Draw Period”).
  6. There are three (3) Prizes available to be won in total, consisting of three (3) A-Series Bundles, each containing:
    1. One (1) Galaxy A56 Awesome Light grey 256GB;
    2. One (1) Galaxy Tab S10 FE 128GB Grey;
    3. One (1) Galaxy Watch7 40mm Cream; and
    4. One (1) Galaxy Buds3 Silver.
    5. (each a “Prize”, together the “Prizes”).
  7. The Prize carries no cash value, is non-transferable and may not be substituted by the winners. The Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value for any Prize.
  8. To enter, Participants must log into their Samsung Account and submit one (1) photo showing their “best face” selfie via the “Best Face” Samsung Members Community page which will be published on the Community Newsroom site (https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/community-newsroom/bg-p/uk-newsroom?page=1&tab=recent_topics) during the Prize Draw Period  (“Entry”).
  9. Maximum of one (1) Entry per Participant.
  10. Any photo which is submitted by the Participant as part of the Entry (the “Content”) must adhere strictly to the following content guidelines (the “Content Guidelines”) for the Promotion:
    1. The Content must not display the image or likeness of any person or any information about any person unless the participant has obtained that person’s permission.
    2. The Content must not display any cruelty to any animal or person.
    3. The Content must not infringe any third party intellectual property.
    4. The Content must not infringe the rights of, or be defamatory or libellous about, any person.
    5. The Content must be suitable for a person of any age to view and must fully comply with the law and all regulations.  
    6. The Content must not contain or display any words, images or sounds which are considered, at the Promoter’s sole discretion, to be offensive, sexually explicit, rude, disparaging or otherwise inappropriate. 
  11. FOR SAFETY REASONS it is important that Participants do not include or reveal any personal information (e.g. name, contact details, etc) in any Content.  
  12. Entries containing any Content that does not comply with the Content Guidelines will not be entered into the Promotion and the associated submission will be deemed invalid.
  13. Entries that are incomplete or damaged will be deemed invalid.  No responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for lost, delayed or damaged data which occurs during any communication or transmission of Entries.
  14. The winners of the Prizes shall be those selected at random from all valid Entries received by the end of the Prize Draw Period in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  15. The winner will be notified by 23:59 BST on 25th May 2025 via the private message function on the Samsung Community page within the Samsung Members App.
  16. Winners will have seven (7) days from the date of notification to claim their Prize by responding to the Promoter’s private message (a “Claim”).
  17. In the event a winner is unreachable, ineligible, or fails to claim the Prize in the time required, the winner shall forfeit their Prize and it will be awarded to a substitute winner, selected in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  18. The winners will be announced on or around 27th May 2025. Details of the winners will be published on the Samsung Community page within the Samsung Members App.
  19. By entering the Prize Draw, Participants consent to their personal information being used by the Promoter for the purposes of operating this Promotion and acknowledge the Promoter reserves the right to publish the names and towns of residence of all winners. Participants reserve the right to withdraw their consent at any time by visiting http://www.samsung.com/uk/info/privacy.html or by writing to the Promoter.
  20. The Promoter excludes liability, to the fullest extent permitted by law for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the Prize Draw or with the acceptance or possession of any Prize.
  21. All Prizes are subject to current tax laws, and may be considered to be a taxable benefit to those who have participated and won a Prize.
  22. Entry into the Prize Draw signifies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  23. The Promoter reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions at any time.
  24. These terms and conditions will be governed by English law.
