Samsung SSD T5 1 TB will not install macbook air

I just bought above SSD drive to use as external storage.

I run the .pkg file:

- It starts that the certificate is not valid anymore ( expired in 2019)

- Still continued and agreed on licence agreement

- coninue toi installation, then get the message : 

"This package is incompatible with this version of macOS.

The package is trying to install content to the system volume. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance."

I run MacOS Catalina 10.15.2 

When I try on my iMac ( running 10.15.6) same message

If its not compatible there is nothing anyone can do. It just wont work.   

On a side note.. you do know Apple and Samsung are rivals it doessent suprise me some things just wont work.

Thank you for your response. However it is nor constructive, nor describing the problem/adding information.

This is not the correct platform to ventilate your personal frustration.

Constructive/ adding information is:

In the meantime I found online updated software for the installation of the app in OIS.

However, although I can open de app, it does not recognise the disc being connected.

So upto now I can only acces the disc through " finder" and not through the app.

So if anyone recognises this and might have a solution, please let me know.
