Curved QLED Monitor 34 inch LC34F791WQU Sound Lags/delay

Hello,

I just bought a Curved QLED Monitor 34 inch LC34F791WQU, and have a problem with the sound in the monitor.

I am using the display port from my PC and the video works, but I also have a 8-10 sec delay. I found that if I switch the monitor and restart it, it starts working but eventally after a whila it happens again. Can someone help me?

Hey Lynch, first of all welcome to the Samsung Community now to see if I can get your sound and video in sync. Could you please tell me some more about the cable(s) and ports you're using? Both on your monitor and PC. I'm looking forward to your reply.

Hi JoeriS,

Im am using the standard cables coming with the monitor. I tried both the display port cable (with mini adptor included with the monitor) with my laptop from work ( a pretty modern Dell) and with the hdmi cable to my older laptop an Alienware M17 R1. So basically both through the display and HDMI 1 port, i get this problem. However i can always fix it if i turn the monitor off and on again....weird. I have the HDMI 1 set up to 1.2 version on the monitor. I have came across people with the same problem in the samsung forum in the US. Thats how i found out that turning it on and off, solves momentarily the issue. Maybe this can be solved with some firmware update...

I hope so too! The first thing that comes to mind is if you've already tried different Sound-modes. Could you try switching between these to see if it makes any difference?
