Hi,
I have two Samsung monitors both ls24r650fduxen are the same. Both monitors are connected to my MacMini M1 through the HDMI port on both monitors. It is working perfectly together. Now, I want to connect a second source (Dell laptop) to one of the monitors and switch back and forth if needed using the source button on my monitor. For some reason, a second source is not recognized by the monitor nor is it recognized by Dell laptop through DP-to-HDMI connection. What I'm I missing here? Is it even possible to connect multiple computers to one monitor?
Cheers, Dino

Hi @DinoNahumury,
Does the monitor work when you use the other port with the Dell laptop? So no other devices attached.

@bruceh tried a few options actually:
1. Dell laptop connected via HDMI is working.
2. Dell laptop connected via DisplayPort is not working as for now with the cables I have. I ordered a brandnew cable ETA tomorrow. So I can retry.
I’ll have to get back to you on that one.
