I have a very annoying issue with LS32BG700EUXEN . If my monitor is turned of and i push the power button on my ps5 to turn on it doesn't and goes to storage repair mode and the it says that the ps5 didn't start properly etc. I tried with another ps5 and it does the same , I changed HDMI port , I hdmi 2.1 cable , i tried hdmi 2.0 , i tried changing resolution from ps5 safe mode , i have everything up to date , i tried turning off hdmi-cec on both systems an the issue is still there.
My xbox , and nintendo switch don't have any issue with the monitor.
I'll appreciate any help !!

Yes exactly. I know it should turn on but it doesn’t. I connect everything on monitor’s hub and even if i have only my ps5 connected the issue remains. I don’t know what else should i check

I have the exact same issue with the PS5 and Samsung Odyssey G7. My model number is LS28BG700EPXEN. Thanks for making this thread, as I was also going out of my mind trying everything!
If the monitor is turned off, AND the PS5 is in rest mode, when you turn on the PS5 it fails to make the monitor switch on. You then have to switch the monitor on manually and the PS5 will then go to repair storage as it wasn't booted correctly.
Mine works fine with other TVs, so it's definitely a monitor issue. This is important to fix as this is marketed as a gaming monitor.
What settings should we have enabled on the monitor to have the PS5 wake the monitor and switch to its HDMI channel when turned on?

I also have the same issue, for some reason, only this monitor causes the PS5 not to boot properly from rest mode. What settings should we have enabled on the monitor to ensure devices wake the monitor properly and switch to its channel?
