I have a Samsung Chromebook touchscreen device. I would like a stylus/spen but I'm unsure which type I need. The spen for my S24 ultra doesn't work on it and neither does the non connecting type of spen that comes with the Tab9.

The pens used for phones and tablets use specialized hardware inside the screen to detect the pen; they don't just touch the screen.

There is a Samsung pen for S Pen-enabled laptops, but considering how Chromebooks are cheaper devices, I don't think the expensive pen technology would be included. Unless your device specifically mentions supporting S Pen features, a generic stylus is what you need. Your display only detects fingers, so a stylus that acts like a finger would work. Fancy Samsung pens won't work, unless your model of Chromebook specifically states it works with S Pens; then the S Pen Creator Edition would work.
