I'm trying to update the firmware for my recently-purchased G7, and every time it says that there are no update files found on the USB drive.
I have tried both NTFS and FAT32, I have tried various types of storage devices, I have INDEED placed the .bin file into the USB drive AND it's in the correct USB connection.
What gives, Samsung?

For those who haven't found the solution here is what worked for me: 1) format usb drive to fat32 non-bootable using Rufus and 2) rename the file to match the onscreen filename it is looking for (for me I had to change the .bin file from M-TG700CCAA-**** to M-TT700CCAA-****). The second part may change depending on your device.

I have suffered for nearly 3-4 days tryinna do this, I had to change my Kingstone Data Traveler USB 3.0 flash memory to an older Kingstone 8 GB (USB 2.0) in the beginning it didn't work although formatted as FAT32, but when I used RUFUS I formatted it into a non-bootable drive, then deleted the RUFUS autorun files from the stick, then used it and VOILA, worked!
