Just upgraded to macOS 26.2 Tahoe and Samsung Viewfinity is not recognised.

I've just upgraded earlier today, first to macOS 26.1 Tahoe, followed by macOS 26.2 Tahoe (beta).

In both cases my dual screen arrangement of Mac -> Samsung 24" monitor via HDMI and Mac -> Caldigit TS4 Hub -> Samsung Viewfinity S9 monitor via Display Port, which has been working perfectly with macOS 15.6.1 Sequoia, now is ruined because the S9 is not being recognised by macOS Tahoe.

More alarmingly, the S9 refused to respond to the remote or the 4 way switch at the back. I will be most displeased if the S9 has suffered yet another hardware failure purely because I had the temerity to upgrade the operating system. I did not pay ~ £1250 to purchase a piece of hardware so fragile. I've already had to return the item back to base for repair once, since I've had it, I trust that my 2 year warranty (purchase date August 2026) will allow me to do the same. Although, on reflection, I am more inclined to press for a refund, and try to find a more robust, less over-engineered make of monitor 😮

Thoughts, anyone? 🙏
