Hello, I have 990 EVO plus SSD, that has hardware encryption, how can i enable SSD hardware encryption on my laptop Victus HP 16.1 Gaming Laptop intel 12500H, i enabled encrypted Drive on EVO plus, and its says ready to enable:
i forced my win 11 pro group policies to force SSD hardware encryption,
also i did Secure Erase for my SSD,
but i tried to disable Block SID feature in my HP laptop's BIOS, i dont know if i have to, and i dont have this option in my bios, i tried to force it by this command: $tpm = gwmi -n root\cimv2\security\microsofttpm win32_tpm; $tpm.SetPhysicalPresenceRequest(97)
and then my laptop not responding and frizzing, so i canceled forcing disabling Block SID.
but after all of these, my laptop still not activated for hardware encryption, please let me know what to do.
i dont know why Samsung not make it clear on how to enable hardware encryption
