dear Samsung,
we purchased a Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 Red 15,6 for 1599 euros in July 2022. Within two months the screen cracked while opening the touchscreen. It can be clearly seen that the crack started around the right hence. I think this is a production problem or bad design.
We tried to get repair from the retailer (Aternate) but they refused as of user abuse policy. On our request they have send it back to Samsung, but they as well said it is not covered by their warranty policy and charge 771 euro for the replacement of the screen.
I think Samsung can do better than this. We didnt dropped, hammered or abused the laptop. It is moslty in its case. My previous laptop (lenovo Y700 17 inch), is still without a crack or damage.
Please advice how to get a new laptop or repair. I saw the post you asked to be PM, with a similar case of a book2, 15 inch model. So this is not a new problem.
with my regards
Dennis Sagel

Hi @dcsmenace, good afternoon.
Thank you for reaching out to us, but what a pity to see that the screen of your Galaxy book is broken. You've got 2 years of factory warranty and within this time period technical malfunctions will be repaired without any costs. On our website you can register the Galaxy Book for a service request and in our service center your Galaxy Book will be investigated to see if the issue is covered by the warranty. The results of this investigations are leading for us and a physical damage isn't covered by the warranty.
Perhaps you can look if this is covered be a insurance so you can repair the Galaxy Book2 Pro.
I am sorry for the inconvenience!
Kind regards,
Martijn
