Is my  HW J7501 soundbar  compatible with a QE65Q85TATXXU 65" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR QLED TV? I appreciate that the soundbar is curved but that will not be a problem if it is compatible in other respects.

I have a J6501 from 2015 paired with Samsung R1 for rears and to my surprise they worked happily with my new q95t tv in exactly the same way it did with my js9000 tv.

Funnily  enough in the WiFi surround setup on the tv it actually shows an image of the curved soundbar and R1’s. Not sure if it’s a coincidence or not. 

I am looking to upgrade to a q800t soundbar and want to know if the R1’s will work with that soundbar. That’s how I stumbled on your post :smiling-face:
