Samsung DVR-VR350. Is there a way to disable the OSD in VCR mode?

Hi everyone!

I know this is a long shot due to this product being super old, but I'm using a Samsung DVD-VR350 as a VCR and capturing it through S-Video. The problem is that, when I'm playing the tape, sometimes the OSD shows up, when it detects Hi-Fi audio, and it's a bit frustrating

Is there a way to disable it?
