Greetings,
Recently we tried to start up an old MP3 player which had never been used. It is a YP-U3.
When it is plugged in to the computer it starts up, and it is even possible to add audiofiles to it through the accompannying software "Samsung Media Studio". However, after having charged the battery and added the files, once you eject the device from the computer, it is completely dead and does not respond to anything.
Does anyone have any kind suggestions?
Best regards,

The battery sounds like it can't hold a charge so would need replacing is the stand out problem.
You can get a battery from AliExpress or have a look on ebay for a faulty yp-u3 that holds a charge and swap the batteries.
But only yourself can work out if its viable to repair it.
