Whatsapp web and app windows issue

Hi Samsung team, I want to create this ticket because whatsapp web and whatsapp app for PC (windows 10) is causing me a lot of headaches. Once I block the phone i get the notification "Phone is not connected" while using whatsapp web. This is what I have tried without success:

 Settings > App > Do not optimize battery consumption.

 Setting > App > Network > Allow backgroung data ON, even with data Saver. 

Setting > App > allow all permissions 

Setting > Battery > Adaptative Battery > off 

Does not matter if per Wifi or per Cellular connectivity. 

USed LTE only, 5G, 3G EDGE and I am in Berlin so good reception is available. I have factory reseted the phone, formatted the Pcs (Work and Home), reseted the router, changed the WiFi password. I created a reddit topic where several people have the same issue.

Does anyone have any idea how to resolve this?

Isn't it a better idea when you will contact WhatsApp Support. Why do you think this a a problem for Samsung Support?

Wenn Du aus Berlin bist wäre es trotzdem nett wenn Du hier auf deutsch posten würdest. Außerdem ist hier die Community, hier sind ab und zu Mitarbeiter von Samsung aktiv, aber leider nicht permanent.

Hey Barney after several tests and using galaxy phones since the s4 Ive never experienced this issue. This is related to the s21 Ultra killing the process or putting it to sleep when it should not. However thanks for your reply.

Außerdem kann man WhatsApp Web nicht ohne verbundenes Smartphone nutzen. Die Verbindung ist eine grundlegende Voraussetzung zur Nutzung von WhatsApp Web. Von daher ist die beschriebene Meldung verständlich.

Danke für deine Feedback in der Tat es wäre auch ideal alles auf Deutsch zu schreiben. Aber aufm angehangte Link aus Reddit sprechen wir lediglich English. Aber ich werde die Post übersetzen und neu posten aber mein Deutsch ist ja nicht perfekt. Danke trotzdem

Wenn Du damit leben kannst Antworten auf deutsch zu bekommen ist das schon in Ordnung. Das ist bloß so ätzend wenn die Korrektur die geschriebenen Wörter immer wieder falsch korrigiert.

Wenn Du die Probleme auf die WLAN Verbindung schiebst, hast Du dort in den Einstellungen des Smartphones einmal die variable MAC Adresse auf MAC Adresse des Telefons umgestellt?

So yeah, I'm one of the Reddit guys who also has this problem with a Samsung S21 Ultra and Whatsapp Web (or the Whatsapp app for desktop PC). Connection drops all the time, messages don't get send etc etc.
The one thing that helps is keeping the display on and preventing the phone from locking itself.

Using a different launcher only solved the problem temporarily. I believe when connected to WIFI it works a bit better but I'm still experiencing connection drops very often.

Just like James I've had several galaxy phone before the S21 and none of them had this issue.
