A look at ChatGPT5 , just how advanced is it and its limitations. The best model generally depends on the complexity of questions but not everything was running smoothly at launch which lead to a bit of a backlash and GPT-4o model was brought back for subscribers. GPT5 is programmed to switch between standard and thinking model depending on the input of the user. users can also trigger the mechanism via prompts.
Free users have access to 10 standard messages per hour and one GPT5 thinking model message before reaching the limit. After reaching the limit users are then downgraded to the mini model. Plus users now have access to 160 messages every 3 hours plus 200 messages per week with the thinking model.
