S view case

Hi all , on the s view case what is the square indent on left had part of case at card holder,  does it have a purpose?

That little square indent on the S View case isn’t functional — it’s just structural. It keeps the card slot area firm and stops cards from pressing on the screen. No chip, magnet, or sensor, it's just a design choice.
