Samsung won't accept my pattern and says "Incorrect Pattern" even when I know it's correct.

I decided to reboot my Samsung A23 and after it completed rebooting I was asked to put my pattern, to my surprise it was incorrect. I am now stuck in the lock screen, I have my fingerprint unlock on but it does not work since I just rebooted my device. I have tried erasing my data using Samsung's Find My Device but it says "Something went wrong". I tried forcing it to shut down but it still won't work. Any idea how I navigate through this? Thank you.

Even if you have pattern security access, it still requires another, usually a PIN or password.

My only suggestion would have been that if you have tried "Find my device", it is best to contact Samsung support.

That said I have a similar issue with an old S6 Edge, sadly after much effort, there is no way to bypass the reactivation lock, good if it was stolen not so as it wasn't.
