I'm a Galaxy Buds3 Pro user and I love the sound quality and integration with Samsung's ecosystem. However, there is currently no real theft protection - the earbuds can easily be reset and reused by anyone if stolen.
I'd like to suggest the following improvements:
1. Option to set a PIN or password to prevent unauthorized factory reset.
2. Permanent lock to Samsung Account (like FRP
on phones) if reported as lost, they can't be reused until unlocked.
3. "Theft Mode" - when marked as stolen, earbuds should become unusable (no sound, no pairing).
4. Option to display a custom message to anyone connecting the earbuds (e.g., "These were reported lost - contact [number]").
These features would add peace of mind and discourage theft. Thank you for considering this idea.
