Hi, I've updated my S8 and after power up it says :" the phone is encrypted for security and needs a password to start. null"
Does anyone know what it means? I still have a few attempts, none of the passwords I use fits. I don't want a hard reset as I will use my data. Would be great if anyone could help - is there a way out??? Samsung support says - only hard reset :-(
It seems, reading up on this it's a bug, and only the hard reset worked for alot of people, however some people reported typing default_password worked for them so give it a try before the hard reset, but if it doesn't work it seems the only option you have is the hard reset.
