How to remove applications?

Hello

I have a Samsung Mini Galaxy GT-S5570 and I am trying to download WhatsApp but the phone tells me I have insufficient memory space.

Under Settings | Applications | Manage Applications, I can see a number of applications that I don't use. I don't even know what they are and they can all go.

But how do I uninstall them, please?

Thanks

Hi @SteveHigh.

If you select one of the applications in question, you should have an 'Uninstall' option, if it's possible to uninstall that particular app. Note, some pre-installed apps can't be uninstalled.

Thanks for your reply.

IK, so I wish to remove the 12MB Google Play Books app, so I go to Settings, then select Applications, then, in Google Play Books inly 2 options are available: Uninstall Updates and Clear data.

There is nothing about uninstall.

Thanks again.

Steve
