Workout Detection-Healthy Pace taking precedence over manually selected exercises.

In the last few days the behaviour of my watch has changed.  In the past manually selecting Elliptical Trainer would record data until I tapped finish but in the last few days, ten minutes into exercising Workout Detect stops the elliptical data being recorded and switches to recording it as a "Healthy Pace" walk.  I’ve checked all of my settings and nothing has changed so I’m thinking that a software upgrade has caused this glitch.  Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Did this issue appear just after a system update?

Only thing I can advice for now is to restart your watch, that might resolve "vague issues"

Thanks for the reply.   I'm can't absolutely say for certain but it does seem likely that there was an uodate that has caused the issue.  I've taken your advice and rebooted so hopefully it will be alright when I next exercise.
