When the Watch 4 moved from the nice charging stand to that silly little puck with an integral cable, I thought it was a backward step. But at least I had USB A extensions laying around.
Now the Watch 6 had adopted the same poor (cheap?) design but with USB C. OK, so I now have to buy a USB C extension cable but what on earth is the expected use case? Where exactly did Samsung's designers anticipate that a short cable was going to be plugged in?

Short term yes, but not once I've sold it. But the purpose of the thread was to try to understand what Samsung were thinking. It seems that the "plan" was that we all put our watches on the floor in order for the stupidly short, stupidly integral cable to actually reach a charger..
