Hi

Can someone tell me whether the above watch automatically detects when your cycling?

GW6 does detect as per features advertised on product page.

@Ms_D: It does indeed. If you head to Settings > Health > Auto detect workouts, you can configure the settings, such as selecting the exercise types to be detected. Alternatively, open the Samsung Health app > Settings > Activities to detect.

I did that as soon as I received it, but it never worked. I always had to do it manually.
I went to a Samsung store, and they did a factory reset. I'll know later whether or not it works.

@Ms_D: No problem. Please note that the 'Auto detect workouts' feature will activate once you have engaged in a continuous activity for more than 10 minutes (for running, 3 minutes), so please allow time for the Watch to pick up your movements, and launch the relevant tracker.
