Tv poping and smells like burnt plastic, display corrupted

I have a Samsung TV ue55k6500au. 

Had it for about 5 years. 

Now started to make popping sound, screen display got corrupted and it started to smell smoking /burning plastic.  

I took it out of electricity scaring it will explode or something... 

Any suggestions?

Unless you've got an active guarantee on the telly. It's time to buy a new one..

I would say stop using it immediately and leave unplugged. Also, I'd suggest direct messaging the @Sam_UK account to see  what your options are.

I bought  it in Israel, is there any alternativ contact to Israel?
