Hi y'all
I've encountered a strange fault on a TV only weeks old, & purchased from John Lewis.
Suddenly, while watching TV, I hear a strange noise (like the sound of a trumpet) for a split second. The picture goes blank at the same time, but I still have sound.
A few seconds later the picture returns, and a few minutes later the process repeats.
Unplugging the set from the wall for a few seconds worked...for a week, then it started again.
I'd already performed Audio and Visual tests of the unit, via SETTINGS, and they found no issues, and today (the problem having returned) I performed a RESET, BOTH suggestions being made by JL CS.
Oh well, time will tell (I unplugged it from the wall again) if the problem has been rectified, but I'm curious if anybody else has experienced similar.
