Same issue here with my 50" Q80C QLED and an older Samsung sound bar connected via HDMI.
I only noticed the TV had been updated due to a load of fonts changing. Then the random audio pausing.
I found switching to a different sound mode (movie, sports etc.) resolved the issue, for now.
Annoying thing is that the option to auto update appears to be disabled. So factory resetting probably means I'll go back to this broken version in a few days.

I have now noticed one customer on German site saying 1420 seems to be working well, the soundbar is working fine. The image quality looks identical, Samsung Tv Plus appears to be much faster.

When 2023 TV models received the 1310.3 update, applications stopped playing HLS stream with H264 Interlaced video format (Not Support format). MPEGTS ok, DASH OK, only HLS with AVPlayer.
The 1402.5 update didn't bring back support for Interlaced, but I don't know who to report that to.

The same here with QN800C. Before this update everything was fine with the sound but now sound cuts off randomly. My soundbar is HW-S800B. I've tried all possible combinations of connection (WiFi, HDMI), nothing helps.

hi, can you advise me how to block updates on the QN95C. The TV updated itself to 1402 even with automatic updates turned off. 😞 that's a nice scam by Samsung

I know that one customer was informed by Samsung Support that it is only possible tom block Standard Tv updates, not important updates. Important updates are deemed to involve Bug fixes, know isssuers can be created by some firmware though.

Lot of sound drops with Disney+, Netflix, ...
