TV fire hazard

Hi

I bought a UE50AU8000 Smart 4K Crystal UHD HDR TV in June 2022 and yesterday noticed a mark on the edge of the screen. When touched it's very hot so cannot be used in case it sets on fire. Samsung appear to not want to know even though I've spoken to a TV repair specialist who advised this is a known problem. The TV wasn't that expensive compared to some but I expect it to last longer than a year and a half.

It will be assessed before any repairs take place.
I'm assuming it's out of warranty. But Customer Support should be able to advise you further
