Have recently stoped using sky box in room upstairs and wanted to watch local tv on my smart tv, unfortunately it has no connection on the rear for my indoor tv antenna (Coax Cable Connection).

Have scanned internet to find solution, watched various instructional videos to no avail, all I want to do is watch local tv, namely BBC, STV, Chanel 5, Chanel 5 etc..I am not watching through BBC or ITV iplayers.

You would think there is a simple way to get your local tv from what I thought was a smart tv's purpose, seems not as smart as I thought or am I missing something?

Most modern smart TVs dont support aerials now. You could get a fire stick, (iyk,yk).

Thanks for response, already have firestick loaded, still does not resolve issue wher I want to turn on tv and just see local chanels, gonna try rigging a TV HD Scart Freeview Receiver & Recorder Set Top Box For Digital TV Channels Digital Terrestrial Receiverand use the connections on that to rig an antenna

I think samsung TVs only come with Samsung TV plus, which imo is absolutely useless. A freeview box should solve your issue.
