My 2023 QN95C always start up at maximum brightness level set in the picture settings, even at night.
I have set my brightness to 35 and my ambient sensor minimum brightness to 10. Every time I open my TV during the night I get brightness flashed in my face, then it dims down.
Samsung, please, listen to your customers. Give us a way to keep this ambient sensor alive during standby, so when I open my TV during the night the TV will already know the ambient light and start with level 10 backlight.
My Q90R from 2019 was like this, it was perfect.
