Recording programmes on a TV

I have just purchased a Samsung QE43Q60CAU and was amazed to find no manual supplied just a useless piece of paper telling you how to put the stand on and where to plug in the power.

I have an ssd and would like to record a programme but there is no information on the TV guide. I went to Samsung online and downloaded the user manual only to find it is the useless one page I had received.

I found Samsung instructions online that said press the home button, go to a programme on live TV, press the up arrow and there is the schedule... No it isn't, all you get is an message saying watch from the start.

Anyone have any ideas.

Hi, there's usually an e-manual on Samsung tvs which you can usually find in settings.

Is your ssd powered? The TV alone may not carry enough power? You could try placing a video file on the ssd and see if the TV can find it.
