Curve tv help

I hope someone can help me. My curve tv was on standby mode (off but still had power) when all of a sudden the screen started flashing , I couldn’t turn it on , I unplugged the tv for a couple minutes then plugged back in, the flashing got worse and there was smoke and a bad plastic burning smell after that the tv would not work. Would anyone know what caused this? Would it just be the tv or should I be worried I have an electrical issue with the plug? Many thanks

Hi @Verve-eclipse   Sorry to hear this , Samsung do take such issues seriously. With smoke and burning this is a  Health and Safety issue, do not attempt to use the Tv and ensure that it is unplugged.
