55 Inch Curved 4K TV dangerously hot and white patch growing from corner

I've owned this tv for 3 years and tonight it started glowing in one corner when touched it was dangerously hot and then the glowing seemed disappear as it cooled to my hand.

Extremely disappointed with this as it was £800 (Bought through Amazon) at time lf purchase. Are there any DIY fixes pr any help known for this kind of problem, it seems from reading that this is a common occurrence and a fire hazard.

Samsung said get it fixed 3rd party, i ended up fixing it myself with 15 quid parts from eBay and watching a YouTube video

what was the issue ? backlight

Yeah mate order new backlights and do it it yourself it's easy enough, just be careful with the clips that plug into the back lights, i fixed mine in February and it's still working like new
