So, I didn't use my Galaxy S6 Lite for a while. Then when I powered it up, it wouldn't accept my PIN. (And I know the PIN is correct.) I decided to do a factory reset--starting by turning the tablet off: I hit the power and volume down buttons then hit the "power off" icon (the other choice was "restart"). The tablet says I have to enter the PIN to turn the tablet off. If I had the PIN, I wouldn't have to do a reset. I'm feeling like Yossarian here. My PIN won't work, but to do the factory reset to reset the PIN, I have to turn the tablet off, but to turn the tablet off, I need the PIN.
Can anybody help?

Hi @Bill790 Can you reset the log in credentials using the Find My Mobile service on another Device, Remote would need to have been set up. https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/what-is-find-my-mobile-and-how-can-i-use-it-to-loc... An alternative is Google's Find My Device. https://support.google.com/android/Find My Device

Thanks James, but I don't think any of that is going to work. I don't think I had remote turned on and I don't know if was logged into any Google accounts. I think doing a factory reset will be the easiest....but so far I've had no luck doing that.
