My agency is issued XCover 6 Pro devices and we utilize AT&T's Enhanced Push To Talk (EPTT). One of your competitor’s offers an EPTT compatible device that allows you to select how long the physical PTT button must be pressed to activate PTT functions when the screen is locked. This keeps users from accidently keying up to a talk group while handling their phone or when it’s in their pocket.
I believe for anyone utilizing PTT with talk groups this is a necessity! We have only had the XCover6 Pro's for a few weeks (we migrated from Sonim PTT devices) and the number of accidently key-ups has skyrocketed.
It would be greatly appreciated if this functionality was added to the XCover Key.
Sonim devices allows users to select from several delay options, ranging for a few tenths of a second to tens of seconds.
Thank you for the consideration!
