I may be in the minority on some of this but, I miss the rear mounted finger print reader. And hate that the camera lens protrude from the back.

A simple change could correct these. Make the phone thicker.

Flush mount or sub flush mount the cameras.
Put a physical finger printer reader on the back.
Use extra space from thickened phone to increase battery size or include other features to improve cooling/performance.

I can deal with the phone being 1-3mm thicker.
