Easy Notification Access

The Samsung Galaxy S10e's feature of using the home button/fingerprint scanner to access the notifications is a brilliant idea. Sadly the S10 has no such easy access to the panel. What if a gesture was added to the home screen to easily access the notifications panel. For example, instead of swiping down to bring up the menu, you could have the option of swiping up or down to bring out the notifications panel. Just a feature I thought the S10 was missing. Specially with the huge screen.

This already exists @TomaszT @GladsyPadsy
On the home screen, I can swipe down to bring down the notifications panel, or I can swipe up to open my app pages.
It's been around since Android 9 at least.

Settings app -> Display -> Home screen -> "Swipe down for notification panel" - turn it on.

Hi @ryamoo

Thanks for sharing that info with us! :smiling-face:

Yes, that option is available but only on Home Screen sadly.

The option with fingerprint scanner worked on any window and it has been a huge help.

Cheers! :fisted-hand:
