A Cell phone for phone use!!!

I do not understand how cell phones became cameras!!. When I go to purchase a cell phone I am looking for features that assist me as a telephone and possibly email/data exchange device...NOT A CAMERA!! If I want to take photos I will grab a camera, in a pinch if I need a photo the phone will do. But when I use a phone I need it to have a great signal everywhere with access to data at high speeds! And I need the phone to be durable not this light bulb type of device I carry around like its my child I may drop!!

Lets build phones not cameras! PLEASE!!!
