S23 Ultra delivery delay

Pretty much frustrated with Samsung.com. I ordered a S23 Ultra in cream colour that was supposed to be delivered on the 23rd. I received an email on the 22nd at 8.01pm saying it will be delayed till 29th. Today, I got another email at 9.06pm saying it will now be delivered on the 5th of October. I am seriously considering giving up and cancelling my order as I cannot afford to get yet another day off work to wait for a delivery that gets delayed one day before it is supposed to arrive - aint happening any time soon it seems. I am wondering if on the 4th I'd get an email at 10.11pm with yet another week ahead delay on an order that was supposed to be already here. I have reached to CS and was told 'their website had run into some issues that was delaying my delivery', which now that I think about sounds as complete BS. Should have opted to collect from Samsung KX if I'd known delays are so bad (sadly I don't think there is an option for changing that unless I cancel the current order and place another one -.-). I won't be ordering from the e shop again. This will probably be a lesson learned.

DPD needs like 24 hrs to get it to their depot near your address and sometimes even delivered to you depending on the delivery date they have received, aint the 1st time I'm using them sending or receiving parcels. When you get an email they have collected the parcel from Samsung it will be with you soon, like in a day or two depending of where you live. It will go to their depot, like the one they have in Croydon for example, and then it will get delivered depending on your location. Might take em 24-48 hours.

I've just received this from Samsung, I ordered on the 20th Sep and my original delivery date was the 3rd October. 

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, your order has been delayed. You can expect your delivery by 16th October 2023. Once your order is on its way you will receive automated communications from our courier partner.

Ahhh so it might be here by the 5th/6th at the earliest possibly... I haven't used DPD much, most places I order from use Hermes and they literally take a photo of the parcel outside my closed/unanswered door and mark it as delivered/drive away 🙃 haha! - hope DPD aren't the same

I don't believe their promises at all anymore lol. I was told on Saturday it will defo come by Thursday the 5th, but still no movement apart from the order being changed from 'Arrives 23/09' to 'Arrives on 03/10' 🤣

DPD actually text you by 12 noon the same day it will be delivered with options if you aint at home cuz they cannot leave it in safe place or neighbours cuz its a costly item, so you can be assured they won't leave it unattended.

I went for lavender, not sure if that's an online exclusive colour but it's possible. That was a mistake, had I known this would have happened I would have gone for a plain colour, it wasn't even that important tbh 😓.

I just received an email from dpd saying they will very shortly pick up my parcel from the samsung warehouse. I think they are starting to fix whatever catastrophe the had going on. I hope everyone hears good news soon 🙏
