S22+ Custom Colour Delivery Delay

Hi everyone,

I have been keeping a close eye on the amount of complaints regarding the S22 delivery fiasco that is seemingly becoming worse!

Has anyone managed to take delivery of an S22+ in a custom colour?

Here's my experience so far...

I currently have an S10+ and have been very happy with it. Now comes the time for a new phone. 

I decided to order direct from Samsung based on previous experience on great service. 

BIG MISTAKE!

11th March I ordered the S22+ in Sky Blue. Their website stated allow up to 4 weeks for delivery. Fine, they've made it clear what to expect. 

I was given a delivery date of 8th April. 

22nd March I received an email confirming my device is being made and to allow up to 3 weeks for delivery. 

2nd April I noticed the order status on my account changed to 'Headed to your Country'. Its been stuck on this status for the last 2 weeks. 

7th April, I decided to contact Customer support. Their agents have no idea what is happening. Assured me my phone was still on track to be delivered the next day. 

8th April my delivery day. Email from Samsung delaying the order by 2 weeks. New delivery day 22nd April. 

9th April I tweeted and got a similar scripted response. It will arrive soon. 

I am not holding my breath!

Anyone else had any better luck? 1k they've had out of me weeks ago with nothing to show for it. 

I've also emailed their promotions team to find out where we stand for phones that are not delivered within 60 days. I'm hoping they will be extending it so I can still claim the free buds!

Even the normal colours are delayed. I ordered a 512 black for delivery today and its not turned up despite saying they have it on stock.

I must admit I had my eye on the Graphite Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra but I opted for the Phantom Black as exclusive colour options can have delayed delivery schedules.

In regards to the Samsung Promotional Galaxy Buds Pro the Terms is that you claim them 60 days from receiving the new Samsung Galaxy s series phone so anyone have delayed deliveries of their phone.

I think delays can be coped with if they actually gave notice prior, but they actually have no clue. Just keep taking the money and failing to provide the goods!

Re the buds offer that is for pre orders who can claim within 60 days of delivery. Anything else is 60 days from purchase. I should imagine there are many people in this situation. I'll update when I have a reply from them.

Possibly due to it being a Bank Holiday weekend @Bt32 that the phone hasn't arrived. 

What does it say in your orders section and did you get any communication from Samsung confirming delivery for today.

When a person first orders the phone on tbe Samsung.com page part of the process provides a date to choose but that date isn't confirmed until Samsung send further communication. 

If your in the UK then the courier form DPD send communication too. The DPD app is useful to have to track the delivery too.

Could be. I got an email saying delivery on the 16th but that was it. Nothing else and order is still processing. Maybe it'll turn up next week.

I recieved my promotional Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro around 2 weeks after completing the claim for them.

I eventually opted for the Phantom Black Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra @pierced_rose so I received my phone on the 21st of February after Pre Ordering after the Samsung Unpacked Event.
