My account received the necessary amount of points to upgrade me to the Samsung Rewards+ Tier on the 24th of October but it's has yet to change.

The only 2 pieces of information I can find in regards to when this should happen is on the Samsung website in the Rewards section under the amount of points I have which states, "Due to data processing time, your tier name and related benefits could be displayed with maximum 24 hours delay".

However I also found some info the FAQ's section under 'I am now eligible for Rewards+ account, how long will it take for this to change?' In this section it states, "Rewards+ eligiblity is checked on a monthly basis and will consider all purchases made over the previous 24 months that have passed the cooling off period. If the purchase isn't included one month, then it will be considered the following month.

So it's now the following month and my account is still just Rewards. I have 30,241 points, all of which was earnt within the past 22 months. None of the points were special bonus points either.

Any help would be appreciated.

For anyone wondering after you accumulate the necessary amount of points your account will be upgraded to a Samsung Rewards+ account on the 10th of the month after you accumulate the necessary amount of points/spend total. You also get 50,000 points as a bonus for becoming a Samsung+ Rewards member, equivalent to £50 to spend on the store 🙂

Recently, I received an email stating that I have been upgraded to Samsung + rewards and have been granted 50 pounds worth of points to my account. However, I have not yet received these points.

If you have spent £3000+ in the past 2 years on Samsung.com or via Samsung Shop, then you would be eligible for 50,000 points. Today is the 10th as well, so that aligns with when they usually send out emails regarding Rewards Membership upgrades.

"The tier status of Participants is calculated and updated at midnight on the 10th day of each month. Samsung reserves the right to alter this time".

So maybe you will just have been updated now since it's midnight?

For some reason, I never received an email regarding the new updated Rewards Tiers, but someone else I know did.

There are now three Samsung Rewards Tiers: Blue, Gold, and Platinum.

Blue is the same as the basic Rewards Tier. There is no required spend. For every £1 spent on Samsung.com or via the Samsung Shop, you will earn 10 points.

There is a new Gold Tier for members who spend £1,000 within a two-year period. Until January 11, 2025, Gold tier participants will earn an enhanced rate of 30 points for every £1 spent, but after this date, it will revert to 10 points for every £1 spent, the same rate as Blue tier participants. Gold tier participants will also earn 10,000 bonus points, but also only up until January 11, 2025.

Platinum is replacing what was the Rewards+ level, which gives 50,000 bonus points for spending £3,000+ within a two-year period and offers 50 points for every £1 spent.

I will link the terms below.

I don't think I've spent that much to be honest... But I wouldn't have got this email if I didn't, right ?

You should be able to check quite easily. If you login to your account on Samsung.com then go to the Rewards section it will list the amount of points there. If you add them up do they come to around 30,000 points? Only the points accrued within the past 2 years will count however.
