Is there nothing i can do to update it? I dont have the money for a new device at the moment is there anyway i could update it atall please? My partners got a Samsung a10 & its updating no problem. Is the A10 newer than the j4+??

Hi your device no longer receives security updates. Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do about it since it was released in 2018. Your only option is left is to upgrade to a new phone. It doesn't have to be an expensive phone. But Samsung A series lineup are affordable and guaranteed 5 years of security updates.
