Help Please

I have a Note 8 & when I'm composing an email, using either my finger or the S pen, when using the keyboard on the right side, something keeps encroaching onto the screen & it's sooo annoying, Samsung Edge I believe it's called. I have been into my settings several times, thinking I had disabled it, but no such luck. 

Any instructions would be most welcome, also, does anyone know if its possible to turn off predictive text. I know that I can trust my own abilities, when it comes to grammar & spelling & the bloody swipe thing that keeps popping up, is so annoying.

Hello @Markygeezer 

The edge panels should be able to be turned off via Settings > Display > Edge Panels > Toggle Off.

Predictive Text can be disabled by opening up a function that launches your keyboard such as messages > Press the Cog >  Turn Off Predictive Text.
