Confirmed: One UI 6.1 with Galaxy AI is coming to older devices; check the list

Samsung has officially confirmed that select Galaxy devices will get One UI 6.1 with Galaxy AI features.

• Galaxy S23 series
• Galaxy S23 FE
• Galaxy Z Fold 5
• Galaxy Z Flip 5
• Galaxy Note 20 series

These devices will receive the update before June 2024.

It's also coming to earlier models too, like the S22series as testing is continuing on these models so it may come before June 24 or just after.

Yes, the S22 series will indeed get One UI 6.1. But it's unclear if they will get the Galaxy AI features.

It was supposed to be February, but the fact that they've now said within the first half, means that it's definitely not coming soon.

Earliest would be May, otherwise they'd have said it's coming in the first quarter, not first half.

In the meantime, potential damage will be caused to icons burning into screens from the bug that they introduced back in October.

This means it could be six months plus (from bug to remedy) which is absolutely unacceptable on any device, let along a supposed flagship phone.

All their focus will be on S24 now.
