First try a soft reboot by turning your phone Off and then and check for any updates.
Try putting the phone in Safe Mode which disables all downloaded apps but leaves the stock apps working which may help to highlight if this is a rogue app causing this issue.
A factory reset may help but back up first and remove any relevant sd card.
I assume the phone hasn't had an accidental bump or had water damage.
