I bought a few usbc adapters online,but "The connected device isnt supported" pops out.I ordered samsung's very own adapter,there was no issue plugging it in,but once i plugged the earphones music doesn't go thru the earphones.I have been a galaxy user for a long time,so this dismayed me.What can i do to resolve this?

Is it possible the adapter is glitching or faulty ? 

Is the port free of debris ? Try a torch to take a peek 👀

Are you able to try it on another phone as a process of elimination @usbc adapter

Usb c port seems to be faulty, mine checked at samsung and needs replacing. Fast charging also stopped working
