Anytime I send a video I have recorded with the regular camera app it always sends in horrible quality (looks like 144p) with very very dull colour. Even with 4k HDR10+ enabled it sends terribly to any other phone Android or iPhone. I've tried using Snapchat Instagram and what'sapp and they all look terrible. How do I fix this? Because at the moment I feel like putting this back in the box and using my old iPhone 6s again.

Because those apps reduce quality drastically.

Only option if you upload to YouTube and share the link.
Or shoot in normal HD.

Is there no way to change that ? On iPhone it doesn't really lose much quality it almost always looks great

Unless you find out what resolution the apps are using.
Most apps are better fine tuned for iPhone as there's less of them then so many crazy android phones with multiple lens and options compared to the iPhone.
Does iPhone 6 do 4k recording?

Depends on what apps you're using to share. If you have Samsung devices which support quick share, you'll get original quality.
