Was hoping for a patch or firmware to improve camera focus issues and picture quality.

I believe camera updates are.like once in six months now as its an older model.

Hopefully might get some improvements with one ui 6 now .

I'm hoping so, coming from a galaxy note 8 which took way better pictures than the S21 ultra I've just bought.

The reason you think that is because samsung moved away from contrasty looking pictured to more muted natural looking ones.

You can experiment with slightly reducing the exposure before taking the photo. Works really good especially for portrait s

That maybe the case, but I reckon most people don't like having mess around with exposures or pro mode settings, they just want to point and shoot.

I'd agree, but anyone who actually cares a little about their photos would bother to invest the time to take one better. The ones that don't are very unlikely to take decent shots in the first place.

Spending a lot of money on a phone you'd expect it to take decent photos for you without having to invest time.

Seems like these October updates have been bad for battery life.

One ui 6 also seems to have messed with people's batteries.
