I have come across an issue on a Samsung S20 and also a Samsung A series phone - when scanning a QR Code, (containing geo longitude and latitude information) with the Samsung Camera App it will obtain the long/lat information but if you try to open this in Google Maps, it strips out the pin showing the precise location - instead it takes you to the general area.
If you use Google Lens instead, it will work.
Is there a fix?
This is an annoying bug and impacts the way I share information with people for work.
