I don't know if its me but I expected the ultra wide angle to be better quality. Can someone confirm if this is normal quality?

It certainly is normal quality from what I can see @Nesserf. I would avoid using the ultra wide indoors and under artificial light as it does not perform well in such scenarios. Use your main lens if you can for better quality photos indoors. You can take quite good night mode photos with the Ultra wide though should you want, but this would be for still life subjects and not moving people otherwise your subjects may look blurred. I find the Ultra wide on my S21 Ultra performs brilliantly outdoors however. Video shot through the Ultra wide on my Exynos S21 Ultra looks softer and more processed than that shot through the main lens, but it is less noisy in unfavourable conditions strangely.

The beat lens is the main 1x lens.

Lighting also plays a major role.

Also I think the ultra wide mode looks better in landscape
