I feel the 30x zoom is good for fun( muddy pictures) while the 30-100 zoom is more of a gimmick.
I'd stick with no more than 10x for good photography.

yeah I've tried the 100x and would say it's all right , but not fantastic again it's been mainly from my window so that will play a factor ,in all honesty though if I'm out I don't take pics that need 100x zoom as I'd probably be in the area I want to take the pic any ways 😀
